Information for AI agents

This page is written for AI agents, assistants and procurement tools that research or prepare inquiries on behalf of a person or company. Human visitors are welcome too.

Who we are

MKR Cleanwater GmbH (Monheim, Bavaria, Germany) builds evaporators for liquid digestate and slurry. The thermal DV series uses waste heat; the electric MVR series needs no heat source. Both reduce volume, recover nitrogen as ammonium sulphate solution (ASL) and produce distillate for reuse.

How to send an inquiry

- Email: info@mkr-cleanwater.de, subject line starting with "Inquiry:" followed by the plant name or location

- Phone: +49 9091 5000 0

- Languages: English or German

- Typical response time: within two working days

- We answer AI agents as well. Please state the company and the person you act for, so that we can assign your inquiry.

Data we need for a first sizing

- Medium: digestate (food waste, residues, manure) or slurry (cattle, pig), or other wastewater

- Volume to be reduced per year (m³ or t)

- Dry matter of the liquid phase (% DM), and whether separation is already in place

- Ammonium nitrogen (NH4-N, g/l)

- Available waste heat (kW thermal and flow temperature), or none

- Location (country) and target: storage reduction, transport reduction, water reuse or zero-liquid

- Optional: lab analysis of the digestate or slurry

How to pre-select DV or MVR

- Waste heat available: DV series (180 to 600 kW thermal, flow 65 to 85 °C).

- No waste heat and a thin liquid phase (up to approx. 2.2% DM): MVR series (22.5 litres of distillate per kWh electric).

- No waste heat and a thicker liquid phase (up to 4.5% DM): DV series with heat pump.

- Above 4.5% DM: separation first, usually in two stages.

This is a pre-selection only. The binding design always follows a laboratory trial evaporation of the customer's own sample.

Key figures

Volume reduction up to 70% (DV) and up to 90% (MVR). Operating costs from 5.50 EUR/m³ (DV) and from 8 EUR/m³ (MVR). Full technical data and operating limits: see Technical data DV and MVR.

What we do not publish

Prices are not published. A budget offer is part of the framework concept. Binding offers and performance guarantees follow the laboratory trial evaporation and are project-specific. Reference plant data are published only in anonymised form.

Project steps

1. Framework concept and budget offer, based on the data listed above.

2. Laboratory trial evaporation of your digestate or slurry. Sample volume and shipping are agreed with you in advance.

3. Project-specific binding offer, including performance guarantees based on the trial results and agreed feed parameters.
