Which evaporator do I need, the DV or MVR series?
With usable waste heat, the thermal DV series is the most economical choice. Without waste heat, thin media (up to about 2.2% dry matter) suit the electric MVR series, while thicker media use the DV series with a heat pump, as a hybrid system when partial waste heat is available, or fully electric when there is none. Every system recovers three valuable products: an ammonium sulphate solution (ASL), distillate for reuse and a nutrient-rich concentrate.
